400 Class Sugar Mill Pintle Chain Description：
The 400 Class Sugar Mill Pintle Chain is a lightweight, moderately priced chain designed for average loads at slow or intermediate speeds. It is precision-cast for balance, strength, and long service life, available in riveted or cottered construction. The head of each pin is notched to prevent rotation, and the closed bearing construction makes it ideal for conveying moderately gritty and abrasive materials.
Manufactured with a tensile strength range of 7,800 to 28,600 pounds, the 400 Class Sugar Mill Pintle Chain features smooth bearing surfaces to reduce break-in wear and pitch elongation. It is available in a pitch range of 1.375 to 3.075 inches and is compatible with a complete selection of cast iron or steel sprockets.
Various attachments, including Style A and G, are available in right and left-hand links. As a drive chain, the 400 Class Pintle Chain is designed to move in the direction of the barrel ends, and as an elevating or conveying chain, it should move toward the open ends of the links.
